COMEDY CAMP!!

Youth Theatre COMEDY CAMP

This ONE WEEK YOUTH THEATRE CAMP from July 25th through July 29th (9am to 3pm Monday through Friday) PERFORMANCE on July 29th at 3pm for AGES 8 to 16 The comedy acting camp will be a day filled with comedy acting training, performance improvisation (Whose Line is it Anyway style) and comedy sketches PLUS you will rehearse and perform and improvisation and comedy skecth show! This camp will be taught by Zoe Tanton! Zoe is a recent graduate of Chapman University with a degree in Theatre, emphasizing in Directing and Performance. Outside of her improvisation training program, she has received training through the Groundlings. She loves teaching and doing improv, performing comedy, and television writing and will be moving to New York City in the fall to pursue these passions. Managing Artistic Director Jim Gradillas

  

Jim has been a theatre professional for thirty years. He has worked as a professional actor, writer, director, teacher and youth manager all over the valley. He has worked at Mesa Arts Center, Valley Youth Theatre, Phoenix Theatre, Greasepaint Youth Theatre, Theater Works, Creative Stages, Musical Theatre of Anthem and most recently Acting Zone. His work has included countless residencies and play director at schools all over Arizona. He is excited to become the new Managing Artistic Director of West Valley Stages, a new 501c3 Non Profit Theatre. Jim looks forward to creating new theatre opportunities such as play productions, performance troupes, workshops, and summer programs.
